"TIHAR" is second greatest
festival of Nepalese community. Specially Hindu religious people celebrates
this festival very importantly. This festival celebrates five days therefore it
is called "YAMA PANCHAKA" . In the day second, people worship Goddess
Mahalaxmi which is known as god of property. At the evening after completion of
worship program, the girls/women are gather and goes to the each and every house
of the community then they sing a song and perform dances too. That kind of
song is popular in Nepali community as a "BHAILEE GEET". At that
moment the house owner gives some money to the group as gift which is called in
Nepali "DAXINA".
