Performing a Group Dance

Nepal has very diversity in culture. People have different cast, ethics and religious background. According to their background they are adopting and continuing different types of cultural activities. This blog is focusing only the musical part of the culture. You can get information about traditional dances, songs and instruments of kingdom of Nepal from it.

In Nepal different community have their own dances and songs. It means that the song or dance represent the community. For example "LAKHE DANCE" represent the Newar community. Similarly some kinds of songs and dances are performed in the particular season, occasion, festival and in the particular ceremony. For example "RATYAULEE DANCE" performed only in wedding ceremony and "DEUSI SONG" sing only in the occasion of "Tihar" festival.

In conclusion those songs and dances which is performing traditionally by different Nepalese communities they are the typical Nepali music.
