"GHANTU" is the typical
folk dance of the gurung community of the Nepal. Gurung community are the indigenous
community. This dance is performed in group. Basically is popular in western districts
of Nepal, like Kaski, Tanahun, Shyangja, Lamjung etc. In this dance only unmarried
girls allow to participate as a dancer. Senior person sing song and junior take
part in dance. It is known as a complicated dance among traditional dances.
