"ASHAR" (15june-15july)
is the name of month of Nepali Calendar which is based in Bikram Sambat (B.S.).
In this month in Nepal the monsoon is tarts. Due to heavy rainfall in this
season the farmer get lots of water which is very important to plant rice. Then
people starts to plant rice in the field in this time a kind of song sing in
the field by the farmers. That is called "ASHARE SONG". In Nepal this
season treated as a festival then people celebrated it in the field (which is
rice planting spot). They spry each other by mud and get full entertainment.
During celebration participates sing "ASHARE SONG" and perform dance
also.
